PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE

• With more than 29 years of experience in the technical area – energy, vehicles and internal combustion engines – having worked for Sao Paulo State Research Institute at its Engine Test Laboratory, for Ford Motor Company as Product Engineer, as a researcher for Mahle Metal Leve at Tech Center, leading the Advanced Engineering at Sygma Motors and Applied Research group at Vale Energy Solutions. Responsible for the creation of Center of Excellence in Biofuels at General Electric’s Global Research Center. Today I work as researcher, professor and technical consultant at Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as conducting research projects. I´ve already taught courses and giving trainings and lectures on the energy conversion at IMT, Poli/USP and ITA. Main focus is on research and development of energy conversion technologies, alternative and renewable fuels.
