Academic degree
- He holds a master’s degree in Constitutional Law from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and a PhD in Theory of the State from the University of São Paulo (USP). In 2021, he completed the AMP International Executive Education Program (Advanced Management Program), by IESE Business School. Gussi was also a professor at the State University of São Paulo (UNESP) in the areas of Constitutional, Administrative and Environmental Law.

- Evandro Gussi is president and CEO of União da Indústria de Cana-de-Açúcar e Bioenergia (UNICA), an entity dedicated to providing clean, renewable and natural energy in the form of sugar, biofuels, bioelectricity and biomass.
- Before assuming the direction of UNICA, he was elected federal deputy for the State of São Paulo, with a term from 2015 to 2019. In the National Congress, he served as leader of his party (2016-2017) and corregidor of the Chamber of Deputies (2017- 2019). Gussi was the author of the RenovaBio law, a reference for expanding the use of biofuels in Brazil, helping the country to achieve its goals for reducing greenhouse gases and for fulfilling the commitments assumed under the Paris Agreement.
