- PhD in economics from the University of Vienna and has master’s degree from FGV. She was a visiting researcher at Harvard Kennedy School, Newcastle University and the Polish Academy of Sciences.

- Daniela Swiatek is an expert in innovation in government, urban mobility, and digital transformation. She is a postdoctoral researcher in carbon markets at the FGV-SP Cities Center, director of Nowy Swiat Pesquisa
- She worked for 14 years in municipal, state, and federal governments in Brazil. She founded the first government innovation lab in Brazil (MobiLab of São Paulo City Gov.), managed the first government contracts with startups in the country.
- She was the drafter of the Brazilian Charter for Smart Cities, coordinated the elaboration of the Charter Guide for Municipalities and a guide for smart city planning. She implemented an innovative corporate mobility assessment model.
- She is a consultant to international cooperation agencies, development banks and multinational companies on ESG, renewable energy, smart cities, and sustainable urban mobility projects, among others.
- She is an ESG and B2G startup mentor at BrazilLab and Founder Institute.
